Americana at it’s best! This project contains an original blend of acoustic instrumentation and pop harmonies which are reminiscent of the old folk and roots music of the South. If you enjoy the sounds of the mandolin, guitar, dulcimer and other Appalachian/bluegrass instruments then you’ll love this album. With his group Ten Mile Drive, Shay makes a decisive break from the commercially produced ‘Anyway’ project and opts. for a raw acoustic production.

'Anyway' is a fresh mix of piano based pop and rock music with a slightly folk edge. The CD features songs written by Shay along with fellow co-writers Darwin Moody (Bruce Carroll, The London Philharmonic), Dana Robinson, Christian Strignano (Clear, Denise Davis), Claire Watson and Jacob Wylee. The mood of the project ranges from the exciting and fast paced title track 'Anyway' to the worshipful and lyrically visual praise song 'I Will Praise You'. The album concludes with an intimate piano/vocal ballad entitled 'Walkin' On'. The CD is produced by Watson and guitarist, Joe Mazza (Michael English, La Rue, Nicole C. Mullen).
